Santiago, rains for several days that rain down onto the Cibao region have wreaked havoc on roads, highways, bridges and agricultural crops, but has not been reported casualty. Roads, highways and streets from different provinces of the Region have been eroded due to the derailment of the waters.
While rivers, streams and creeks are overflowing and flooding farms inroads into the growing rice, cassava, bananas and other items. The greatest damage
have been reported from Bonao, San Francisco de Macoris, Nagua, and the Yuna river has flooded the farms.
